Awareness of Interior Design as a discipline is fairly new phenomena
in the modern world, there are only a few international institutions
specializing in interior design. In retrospect with the onset of Art
Nouveau at the turn of the century, the number of institutions imparting
functional design related to interior increased radically. Over the
years the decorative aspect of interior, gradually transformed interior
into the science of interior design. The product of this new approach

of materials available to society.
The department of interior design seeks to fulfill the dual responsibility
of training specialized design professionals and providing an academic
platform for research and exploration in the filed of interior design.
The unplanned, deeply ruptured physical environment of contemporary
