ATTENTION REPEAT THE YEAR & DISQUALIFIED STUDENTS 2020

Subject: POLICY INTERVENTION DURING THE PANDEMIC SPREAD OF THE COVID-19
FOR THE REPEATERS & DISQUALIFIED STUDENTS OF 2020

Dear Parents
In continuation of the decisions taken in the MOM of OAC “POLICY INTERVENTION FOR THE REPEATERS AND DISQUALIFIED STUDENT OF 2020” reference NCA/Edu/513 dated 29 April 2021 in which the OAC decided

POLICY STATEMENTS FOR: -
1. Annual System Result 2020
“Promote “Repeat the Year” and allow “Disqualified” to repeat the year.”

A. In the light of the above decision, OAC further decided that the Repeaters and Disqualified students of Annual System 2020 will
i. Appear for supplementary examination commencing 7-11 June 2021 in subjects other than Major Subjects
ii. Attend Summer Semester 2021 to cover academic deficiencies of the Major Subjects of the previous term 2020 and first term 2021

B. Similarly for the Semester System (II semester FYFC 2020), the Head FYFC will nominate following for the Summer Semester
i. Students with less than 2 CGPA/ promoted on probation
ii. Disqualified second semester students, due to earning less than 50 credit hours

It is mandatory for such students to register themselves for Supplementary Exam and the Summer Semester with their concerned Head of the Department / Departmental admin with a CC to exam@nca.edu.pk before close of the business (COB) on 3 June 2021.

These students are strictly directed to meet the following conditions
1. Clear Supply in courses other than major courses commencing 7-11 June 2021
2. Attend summer semester 2021 of 8 weeks duration commencing 2 Aug. – 24 Sept. 2021
a. Maintain 75 % attendance in each course.
b. Meet the deadline for the submission of classes/exam/projects.

In case of failure in any one of the above two conditions may result in strict consequences.

Note: Fee defaulters are advised to clear their pending dues prior to registering for supplementary exam/summer semester.
