The remarkable work produced by the thesis students of the year 2019 in the Department of Multimedia Arts was praised, acknowledged and appreciated. The 2D and 3D animated films by the students, were distinguished with both academic achievements and international awards. The whole year has been highlighted by our various students’ projects being selected and screened all over the world. It has been truly a moment of pride for the faculty and students of the Graduate program in the Department of Multimedia, NCA as these films were screened at prestigious festivals held at global venues including USA, Italy, Greece, India, Spain along with many others. The films RAN’AA (Light of Empathy) and NOORAH won and brought home two international awards among the other finalists.
This global representation of Pakistani students putting forward their best work translates the excellent potential of our students ready to contribute to the Pakistani animation Industry. They easily stood with the best among the selected, fulfilling the prerequisites like specific themes, socially conscious content, narrative strength, immaculate character design, creative concept art, unique visual style, animation quality, expression and sound etc.
